Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Proven previous experience in the petroleum storage industry with references.
- A mature male with a responsible demeanor.
- Qualifications and certifications in health and safety relevant to the petroleum industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
- Must be a non-smoker.
Responsibilities:
As a Health and Safety/Compliance Officer at SA Bulk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our operations in the petroleum storage on-site. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Providing training and awareness programs to employees on health and safety protocols.
- Keeping abreast of industry developments and updates in regulations.
